MARIE THERESE COINCOIN
Coincoin, a remarkable ancestor in our shared heritage, once cultivated tobacco – a connection to our present-day journey of offering premium cannabinoid products.
Born in 1742 and was a slave. This was a time in which, women of color had very little agency in the area of opportunity. Once freed by her slave owner, who she did indeed marry. She was a landowner and taxpayer, which was unheard of at the time and height of her success. She owned at least 1,000 acres of land and went on to become a successful planter and businesswoman in Louisiana. We are furthering her legacy of manufacturing medicine and her deep-rooted commitment to family resonating with our mission of harnessing the power of nature and holistic well-being.
